  • Fire & Smoke

    Our product is designed with safety in mind. It has a Class 1 Fire Rating for both PSM-28™ and 3DPG and is classified as non-flammable by EC criteria. No materials used in fabrication produce toxic smoke. For more information, please refer to the safety data sheet. To further enhance safety, a fire retardant spray can be applied to the back.

  • Steel Frames & Attachments

    The PikusPrinted™ 3D model and slicer data define panel sizes and weights. This model is used to inform the design of embedded steel attachments. Rigging and attachments are designed with our structural engineer to meet OSHA and jurisdictional codes. Attachments, rigging, and integration of scaffolding are determined during design so that your installer may estimate savings on steel structure and timeframe.

  • Modeling for Attachments

    Our team will supply detailed modeling for all connections (including attachment options and cold joint products) between the panels. We will also provide models for the connection points of the support structure. All models will be created within a +/- 0.75" tolerance to ensure accuracy. Additionally, we offer adjustment kits as needed during installation for added field flexibility and integration to steel supports of low tolerance.

  • Installers

    Our rockwork boasts a smooth installation process that can be easily set by your team. Installers can mechanically attach or stitch weld the rockwork panel to the steel frame. Moreover, we have non-exclusive partnerships with several leading rockwork companies to guarantee proper installation, providing you with peace of mind.   • Scaffolding

    PikusPrinted™ Rockwork panels are supported by our SpeedScaffold™ systems. Scaffolding design can be tailored to your requirements and integrated via cast-in or traditional cut-off features. It can be attached directly to the panels or installed at panel intersections for flexible constructibility. Pikus panels support traditional angle irons and SpeedScaffold™ integration.

  • Panel Access

    Accessing panels from the back is not mandatory. Instead, panels can be accessed from any of the corners. Accessing panels from the back can provide a cleaner look and more usable space if necessary. It's important to remember that access is required for any mechanical or welded attachments.

  • Panel Replacement

    Accidents can happen. If your installer damaged or lost a panel, we've got your back! We'll help you get your replacement panel in no time, regardless of warranty coverage. Plus, our access points make for an easy and painless install. Check out our warranty for more information.

  • Panel Details

    Our rockwork panels are typically 6’ x 6’ and have an un-coated weight of 12 lbs/square ft. Because of the versatility of 3DPG, the dimensions of rockwork panels may be easily configured to fit your project requirements.

SAFETY

Chip and tab utilizes high-risk labor-intensive fabrication. This may involve cutting, welding, and projectiles amongst other on-site hazards.

Fabrication without shotcrete reduces the risk of projectiles while the pre-fabricated panels reduce the working height at all stages of the project. 3DPG reduces the need for cutting and welding while providing a light-weight and sturdy structure.

SUSTAINABILITY

Chip and tab construction relies on a steady supply of non-renewable resources, including steel and concrete. With old fabrication methods, the huge amount of materials needed to fabricate rockwork greatly reduces project sustainability.

By eliminating half of the material and leveraging the use of recycled water bottles in our product, we drive a much more total sustainable solution.

STRENGTH

Chip and tab is 2x the weight of 3DPG rockwork and as much as 6” thick, making it heavy. In addition, the use of lath introduces a likely failure point.

3D poly grout is typically 2 to 3 inches thick resulting in half the weight of shotcrete and the elimination of lath. Grout is not only stronger but less prone to failure.

Rockwork Attatchments    

Easily connect 3DPG Rockwork Pieces

  • Pikus™ 3DPG rockwork can be painlessly assembled with several different types of connections, including Z-clips, split tab clips, and U-clips. Each of these connections can be attached to a wall or support behind your rockwork to lock your printed pieces into place. It is recommended that the rockwork pieces be assembled and attached together before being finished with a rockwork coating.

  • Complex or free-standing rockwork can be supported with steel rods and traditional rockwork stands. These supports can be easily hidden within the 3D-printed structure. The steel rods can be combined with other internal support systems to ensure a secure foundation for your statement rockwork pieces.
