Installation & Anchoring Options
Bolides can be installed in several ways depending on the location, substrate, security needs, and project requirements. Final anchoring should be confirmed by the project owner, design professional, installer, and governing authority.
Freestanding (Set & Level)
Best for projects where permanent anchoring isn’t required. The Bolide is placed on a prepared, level surface without mechanical restraint, making it ideal for private developments or locations where freestanding installation is approved.
Epoxy Bonded
A concealed structural epoxy bond secures the Bolide to an approved concrete slab, pavement, or plinth. This method provides a clean appearance while preventing movement and is commonly used in commercial plazas, courtyards, and amenity spaces.
Grouted Pin/Can
A concealed stainless-steel pin and grouted receiving sleeve permanently restrain the Bolide, making it the preferred option for parks, schools, municipalities, and other public spaces where anti-theft protection, safety, or code requirements are important.
